Ready to reset your language learning motivation?

Here’s how I’m getting back on track with learning French.

During some busy months, I had less time to spend on French and my usual routine went out the window.

Although I still managed to do something small nearly every day, resulting in a solo Scrabble surprise.

Now life has calmed down again.

And I’m ready to jumpstart my French training following the 4 steps I use when helping clients.

Step 1: Rally your motivation

I can get my message across in French.

Chatting online with friends, reading books and listening to podcasts is fun and no longer difficult.

But I want to sound more natural when I speak. My challenge is to express my opinions more exactly and more elegantly.

To inspire myself, I imagine taking part in animated conversations around a noisy dinner table. People are talking at once about different topics and I can join in, feeling comfortable and relaxed.

This image motivates me to become better than good enough … and perhaps impress my friends when I’m back in France next year.

How about you?

Are you ready to reset your language learning project too?

Check in with your motivation to learn, decide your objectives, do something regularly and enjoy your language learning.

If you need a hand getting back on track, I can help.
